Islington Council to strengthen digital service agility for residents and businesses with Granicus

Granicus expands its customer footprint across Greater London, by offering its multi-transactional digital platform govService to the Council

London, 6 September, 2022: Islington Council has signed a G-Cloud 12 contract with Granicus, a leading provider of digital solutions for the public sector, to implement its govService platform, which will create multiple efficiencies for residents looking to sign up to the council’s services.

Through its cloud-based technology, govService will enable Islington Council to design and deliver a wide variety of its services digitally across several areas. The easy-to-use nature of the platform will transform the way that the council can connect, engage, and serve residents.

This will provide benefits to residents, as they will be able to engage with the council quickly and easily online – the platform offers the opportunity to provide online services 24/7, so they can choose a time of the day that suits them. The platform also offers the ability to provide instant access to information on the range of services available across the council.

This contract is a significant win for Granicus, as it bolsters its reach of govService across London boroughs, where the technology is currently implemented at 17 councils in the Greater London area.

With the Granicus platform the council has a package that will enable them to enhance their customer service to all residents and businesses residing in the area. Granicus looks forward to collaborating closely with them to create the best solution that addresses the level of digital service that residents expect from their local authority.

Work on phase one of the project will begin in the autumn of this year.
